Thank you to everyone who made our biggest fundraiser of the year such an incredible success! Because of your generosity, thousands of hospitalized children will receive the comfort, distraction, and joy of a brand-new book during their hospital stay. We look forward to sharing details next spring about our 19th Annual Ice Cream Social, coming in the summer of 2027.
A sweet way to make a real difference
The Ice Cream Social is a fun, community-wide way to support Kate’s Kart’s mission of gifting new books to hospitalized children. Kate’s Kart volunteers were on-site at all of our 36 participating shops sharing our story, mission and needs. We had goodies and free books for the kids (and adults too), along with the opportunity to financially support our mission.
Our sponsors jump started our event and gave $120,000! With our two day weekend event, we hope to raise over $175,000 to support our mission in 15 northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio counties.
