Way to Go Kids!

Summer 2008 - West Walnut Church of Christ in Portland, Indiana learned all about serving in God's Big Backyard.  As a mission project for Vacation Bible School...they chose Kate's Kart!  Throughout the week...they collected money from all the kids...some of the kids even gave all their birthday money and allowance. In the end...$800 and 50 books were raised to support Kate's Kart!  Thanks kids for serving others.

Happy Birthday Sangeeta!

Fall 2008 - An extra special thank you goes out to Sangeeta and the Canterbury School 4th grade girls.  Sangeeta asked all of her friends to bring a book as a donation to Kate's Kart in lieu of a gift to her birthday party.  In total, Sangeeta and her friends donated 65 books plus a cash donation to Kate's Kart.  What a tremendous heart you all have!  Thank you.

Thank You HICKORY CENTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

October 2008 - The students and staff of Hickory Center Elementary School, in Fort Wayne, held a book drive for Kate's Kart in conjunction with their annual book fair.  In total, 155 books and $150 were donated, and presented to Kate's Kart during a school assembly.  A huge THANK YOU goes out to the entire faculty, students and staff for their support.
